So far so good, I’ve followed my routine as planned. I’m currently sitting at 171 lbs. I’d like to reach the goal of 150 lbs but I’m not sure how much muscle will impact my weight. I’m not sure if the build and muscle tone I have in mind can be achieved at 150 lbs, I guess we’ll find out as I get closer to my goals.
If I said this was easy for me, I’d be lying. Knowing exactly what must be done and actually doing it are two completely different things. A plan is nothing without good execution.
There’s a lot of moments when I feel like I want to give up. Why does it matter if you quit no one will know, I think to myself. And then I start to think about what kind of person that would make me. I don’t want to be the guy that only does the right thing when it’s convenient.
Determination, perseverance and sacrifice are traits I’ve always admired. In many ways developing myself physically has been a test of character. Each time I overcome my moments of weakness I gain more faith in myself.
